(more) She & Him – In the Sun
I included more She & Him mostly because Zooey Deschanel is my celebrity hero, followed closely by Tina Fey. Tina brings the laughs, Zooey brings the sunshine. I mean she is just adorable, like a human form of a baby panda. And then she had that voice, oh god that voice, that voice oh god, that voice. I just love everything about her. The end.
What do I mean by the title “We Had A Good Run”? Absolutely nothing. I’ve been busy for a while, and I also know of only one person who ever reads this blog. BUT I DON’T CARE! I’ll keep posting until I die. Which, ironically, will probably happen very soon given my current state. If I throw up again tonight I will be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Know what else is going on? My sims are going crazy. I’ve been playing a family now in the second/third generation and can I tell you something? There are so many gays now. I’m trying to get Cindy to marry Travis but he can’t because he’s dating DAVID?! And I go to find another mate for Cindy only to find her doing it with Brenda. I am suddenly growing a fear that my legacy will not prevail due to the overwhelminggayness of my town. That’s not saying I don’t like gays. Gays are cool, and hip, and awesome. I just don’t want to miss out on the beautiful babies Cindy and Travis would have had, if Travis had not been so fascinated with David’s gay dick. Another crazy thing my sims are doing is having babies before they’re married. I feel like the parents would disapprove if they weren’t all dead. I mean, one family is just two parents who are already elders! And dating! SO THEY HAD A LOVE CHILD. Since when was it a good idea to have a kid at 80 so that the child can grow up alone on the streets, constantly depressed from their parents’ death at age 85? I just feel kinda bad for my town. Everyone’s dead because the neighborhood creators decided to have all the pre-made sims be young adults/adults and now everybody is heartbroken. And all I can do is try to make gay Cindy console a town that is almost drowning in tears! But no, I will keep playing this legacy. Mostly for my current players in all this, Elliot and Eliseo. They are just the cutest damn pair of sims I have ever seen on here, because they met when they were kids and grew up together, gettin’ the same traits. I love it because I didn’t even make Eliseo, but the moment I saw him as a child I was just like “oh yes. Hell yes.” BECAUSE YOU CANNOT GET BETTER THAN A NAME LIKE ELISEO. That’s the Italian version of Elliot! OMFG. And then he moved in, and it turned out they had the same lifetime wish! I love not-gay Eliseo. I’m sure he would have had beautiful adopted kids with some guy named Frank, but I would never allow that to happen – just because of his name. And now it’s even more adorable because Elliot is a PI and Eliseo is a Lieutenant! ELLIOT CAN GO SEE HIM AT WORK WHENEVER SHE WANTS! Sure, Eliseo feels obliged to sort of hate her guts, but he makes up for it when they go home and have what I assume is more-than-satisfactory hate sex. But for now, I am holding off on making them produce angelic-looking babies. Mostly because I want to see more adorable PI uniforms from Elliot, and watch all the angry-ish faces she makes as she hides behind two bush pom-poms and stakes out a laundromat. (No, seriously. Bush pom-poms.) But if I feel like it, I’ll keep you updated on their beautiful love.
Oh, and while searching the youtubes, I came across multiple ads for Warehouse 13. So to answer your question, yes, I will be watching it. Because Eddie plays another sexy federal agent (like he did in Bones, eh?) and I cannot resist.
